We are excited to announce a rewarding career opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our skilled nursing facility team in Newton, Kansas. As a Registered Nurse with Paramount Community Living and Rehab, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents while delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team.

As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Paramount Community Living and Rehab, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, administering medications, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our residents. You will have the opportunity to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and nights, to meet the needs of our residents.

• Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatment planning, and administering medications

• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans

• Effectively communicate with residents, families, and healthcare team members to address concerns and provide updates on patient status

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes

• Mentor and guide nursing staff, including LPNs and CNAs, ensuring adherence to care protocols and facility procedures

• Respond promptly and appropriately to medical emergencies, utilizing critical thinking and clinical judgment to stabilize and manage acute situations

• Associate's degree in nursing (ADN) or bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited program

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas

• 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred, but not required

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred

• Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills

• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) and basic computer applications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
