About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years of current Medical-Surgical experience, Telemetry experience License: Massachusetts RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Basic Dysrhythmia course completion - Willingness to float to any Medical-Surgical unit - Meditech Expanse experience preferred Description: Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified at upload. Requests for time off after upload or during the interview will not be approved. No more than five days of requested time off will be accepted, with fewer days preferred. Travelers must be available for two holidays, specifically Memorial Day, July 4, and Labor Day, including surrounding days. Travelers may not take all holidays off. Profiles submitted must include the Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License. Failure to include this license will result in non-consideration for the position. Two specific dates and times for interview availability must be added to the profile. Profiles stating "anytime" will not be accepted. Travelers residing within a certain radius of the facility will not be considered. To avoid delays in processing, please include a permanent address in the profile. All travelers must have voicemail set up on their phones. Travelers without voicemail when contacted will be redirected. Unit size varies from 20 to 34 beds, with a patient ratio of 1:6. Travelers must provide their own vehicle for this assignment. Any and all requested time off must be included in the profile. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission, as the facility will not approve requests made after the offer or during the interview. Profile requirements include a work history skills checklist relevant to the position and a supervisory signed reference from within the past two years of employment. Active American Heart Association certifications for BLS and ACLS are required, along with the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification. Every other weekend and holidays may be required if needed.
