Sr Project Manager - IT

Responsibilities Drive collaboration between business leaders and technology teams to align priorities and execute strategic technology projects. Manage end‑to‑end project lifecycles with a focus on financial accountability, including budget planning, tracking actuals versus forecast, cost optimization, and rigorous schedule management. Orchestrate software releases, crafting workflows and schedules to ensure everything runs smoothly from QA to production. Monitor project health, providing insightful updates to technical teams and executive stakeholders, highlighting achievements and course corrections where needed. Verify that project artifacts are created and that work aligns with audit and security requirements. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, budgets and resource allocations, and track key metrics. Lead cross‑functional teams across IT, product, and business operations, driving risk, issue, and change management. Qualifications 5+ years of progressive experience leading technology projects in a retail or related environment. Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, business administration, communications, or a related technical field. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, strong financial acumen, and project management skillset. Experience managing vendor relationships, contracts, and service delivery for project workstreams. Comfortable working in a hybrid arrangement – in office 3 days a week (Houston, TX). Highly organized, self‑motivated, detail oriented, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Jira, Confluence, Planisware.
