Litigation Paralegal

Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our busy insurance defense firm.
  • The successful candidate will assist attorneys throughout the entire lifecycle of a case, from pre-suit through litigation, trial preparation, and trial.
Qualifications:
  • Experience using the Florida Courts E-Filing Portal, CourtMAP, and PACER
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, and case management software
  • Reading and summarizing medical records and billing records
  • Preparing subpoenas
  • Organizing and preparing exhibits for hearings and trials
  • Conducting witness interviews
  • Preparing discovery motions
  • Hybrid work schedule available
  • Must be willing to commute to our downtown Fort Lauderdale office at least two days per week
  • Billing Requirement:72 billable hours
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Pay range: $70,000 - $85,000, based on experience
  • Highly competitive compensation
