Lewis-Palmer School District is looking for a Speech/Language Pathologist Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year. The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant provides interventions for and counsels students with or who are at risk for: articulation, fluency, voice, language learning, communication, swallowing and related disabilities which impact educational and/or social development. Candidates will work under the direction of the Speech Language Pathologist to implement services, considering bilingualism, limited English proficiency, cultural/linguistic diversity, infants and toddlers, cognitive, hearing, visual, neurological, orthopedic, or multiple impairments, and social/behavioral concerns. Candidates will recommend and refer for audiological and related services. Bachelor's degree in Speech/Language or Communication Disorders or Associate's degree in a Speech/Language Pathology Assistant program or a general college degree. Must have a Colorado Special Services Provider License with a School Speech/Language Pathology Assistant 0-21 endorsement required. Certificate of Clinical Competence (American Speech Language Hearing Association preferred)

Exact placement on the pay schedule will be determined by the Director of Human Resources upon contracting. This pay range is based on education and experience levels with a range of $44,550 - $75,279. As a guideline, we offer up to 18 years of previous contractual teaching experience for a placement of Step 19, per school board policy.
