Quality Technician - 2nd Shift

A Quality Technician I is responsible for performing product inspections and audits of our quality control programs. They’re also responsible for sampling and testing of incoming components and raw material. Duties and responsibilities Safely perform assigned tasks completely and efficiently. Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations. Assist with first article layout, including reports for first piece submission, engineering changes, tool corrections, etc. Sample parts for final inspection and document appropriately. Comply with department policies, procedures and work instructions including the TASUS Quality Management System Participate in monthly meetings and lead TPS projects Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to work in a team environment and maintain and encourage positive attitudes Ability to work in a safe manner and follow safety policies and procedures Working conditions Manufacturing environment where Personal Protective Equipment is required. Eight hours shifts, mandatory overtime when required Physical requirements Standing for long periods of time Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally maneuver up to 40 pounds.
