Pediatric PT - Integrated Care School Based Setting

As part of a program affiliated with Easter Seals youll work in a fully integrated environment where therapy is embedded into a childs daily collaborate side by side with Physical Occupational and Speech Therapists to support children with developmental delays and special needswhile also treating outpatient pediatric patients from the local community. This is a rare opportunity to practice in one of the largest pediatric therapy settings in the region where you can build meaningful relationships and see your impact in real time.

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric physical therapy services within a daycare setting allowing children to receive care during their normal daily routines for more natural real-world progress.

• Partner with a multidisciplinary team (OT SLP) to deliver comprehensive coordinated care.

• Review each childs medical history developmental milestones and family concerns to guide evidence-based individualized care.

• Evaluate movement strength coordination balance and functional skills through play-based and standardized assessments in the childs everyday environment

• Create individualized family-centered treatment plans that support development and participation in daily daycare activities and routines.

• Monitor progress closely and adjust the plan of care to meet each childs evolving needs.

• Partner with families and caregivers by providing education home exercise programs and strategies to support progress outside of therapy sessions.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Licensed Physical Therapist (or ability to obtain licensure in the state of practice)

• Passion for evidence-based patient centered care

About

Compensation: $80000-$95000 with additional compensation opportunities for certifications and location differentials. Benefits include generous paid time off medical dental vision disability sign on bonus student loan reimbursement and 401(K) with a 4% employer match.
