Dietary Aide

Description Part Time 3pm-7pm two-three days during the week and every other weekend Welcome to Oak Park Place, where your talents are celebrated, your growth is nurtured, and your work truly matters. We employ passionate individuals that are looking to help us write the next best chapter of our residents' lives! The Dietary Aide responsibilities included preparing and serving meals, ensuring to follow specific dietary requirements and safety standards, setting up dining areas, delivering meals to residents, and assisting with cleaning and sanitation. Dietary Aides also collaborate with Dietitians and Nurses, to help monitor patient intake, and manage inventory.

- Serving residents' meals according to instructions
- Using proper food handling techniques in plating and serving meals
- Cleaning and sanitizing the dining area
- Stocking the food storage areas and refrigerators
- Clean, wash, and sanitize dishes, silverware, and utensils
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Previous experience working with the elderly preferred
- Previous experience in a dietary position preferred
- Ability to work cooperatively as a team member
