Purpose of the Position
The Volunteer Recruiter assists in recruiting groups and individuals volunteers to help fill the needs of the Project C.U.R.E. Team
Responsibilities and Duties
- Represent Project C.U.R.E. at volunteer fairs and events
- Perform online research to identify groups that will help meet volunteer gaps
- Reach out to organizations about volunteering with Project C.U.R.E. via e-mail or phone
- Reach out to and follow up with Volunteer Organizational Chart Leads with phone calls and emails.
- Present to prospective volunteers
- Connect prospective volunteers to the appropriate person within the organization
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Report any injuries, accidents or potentially hazardous situations immediately to the supervisor. If a direct supervisor is not immediately available, report to any Project C.U.R.E. staff member.
