Music Therapist

We specialize in creating experiences that inspire growth and wellness through music. Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and client-focused Music Therapist (MT-BC) to join our team full-time. You will deliver music therapy services primarily in school/IEP and clinic settings. Additional sites may include hospitals, hospices, rehabilitation centers, and community programs. Responsibilities Provide individualized and group music therapy sessions tailored to client needs. Work with diverse populations, from children to older adults. Collaborate with education teams, families, and community partners. Maintain records and track client progress. Qualifications Hold a Bachelor’s degree in music therapy or equivalent. Have a current accreditation of MT-BC (Music Therapist‑Board Certified). 2 years of clinical experience preferred; entry‑level candidates considered. Be a proficient clinical musician skilled in voice, guitar, piano, and percussion. Be passionate about working in school‑based IEP settings and clinical/private clients with special needs. Demonstrate cultural sensitivity, empathy, and respect for diverse populations and abilities. Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills. Be comfortable using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Drive). Possess a valid driver’s license and reliable, insured transportation. Be able to pass background check, TB, drug, and health screenings as required by facilities. Be dependable, responsible, flexible, and a collaborative team player.
