Merchandising Manager

PurposeThe Merchandising Manager is a strategic manager responsible for defining and executing iPROMOTEu's overall product strategy, assortment, and vendor relationships to drive revenue growth and enhance customer value in the promotional products industry. This role requires deep market insight, strong analytical skills, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure our product offerings remain competitive, profitable, and aligned with client needs and industry trends.In addition, the Merchandising Manager is a key team member and assists in maintaining the Vendor Management inbox, sourcing support, communications, internal systems, and supplier created marketing offers on a daily or as needed basis.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement long-term merchandising strategies, defining product categories, target markets, and growth opportunities.Curate and manage a diverse, competitive product line, identify trends, innovations, and new product introductions.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, pricing, and promotional support.Utilize sales data, market trends, and customer insights to inform decisions, optimize product performance, and identify profitability drivers.Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Creative teams to ensure integrated strategies and cohesive customer experiences.Facilitate iPVP specific WebinarsMaintain Supplier resources, flyers, self-promos and discounts held within internal systemsProvide creative input and facilitate all orders for the Anniversary Program, Specialty Mailings, and Events.Undertakes additional responsibilities as business needs evolve, at the direction of managementQualificationsEducation/ExperienceMinimum of three years' experience within the promotional products industry, preferredBachelor’s degree preferredExperience working with suppliers, preferredProven experience working with Microsoft Office, G Suite preferredSelf-starter with the ability to manage tasks with little to no supervision preferred.Proficient problem-solving skillsKnowledge/Skills/Abilities/CompetenciesPersonal Leadership:Adapts confidently to change, takes accountability with integrity, and courageously confronts difficult issues while championing new ideas.Thought Leadership — Problem Solving & Strategy:Integrates diverse data and perspectives to solve problems, think critically about broader implications, and knows who needs to be informed across the organization.Generates fresh, valuable ideas and approaches problems with curiosity, appropriate risk-taking, and openness to alternative viewpoints.Team Leadership — Collaboration & Communication:Builds strong relationships, navigates disagreement constructively, and communicates clearly while listening with empathy and encouraging honest input.Shares expertise generously, trusts others' competence, and inspires energy and excellence through recognition.Results Leadership:Prioritizes and manages resources efficiently, drives urgency toward goals, takes initiative on critical issues, and stays mindful of compliance obligations.Working ConditionsProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
