Legal Assistant - General Liability

Overview Kelly Kronenberg’s Fort Lauderdale office is seeking a Legal Assistant to assist a growing General Liability team! We are a diverse, innovative, and client-focused team that is passionate about achieving our clients’ goals. The successful candidate must be a reliable and detail-oriented individual with great communication and organizational skills. We are in need of a Legal Assistant with strong litigation experience, preferably in General Liability defense. Required Education and Experience 1-3 years of liability practice experience Responsibilities Assist lawyers and paralegals on day‑to‑day tasks relating to insurance defense litigation Administrative duties, including coordinating meetings, scheduling, answering and directing telephone calls, maintaining and organizing electronic case files, and updating files with case status and information Scheduling of hearings, depositions, mediations, conferences, and other events Compiling and organizing documents, preparing binders and/or folders Gathering and organizing records, documents and other materials Drafting correspondence and minor motions/notices Ensuring service of subpoenas Perks of Working at Kelley Kronenberg Competitive salary with yearly bonus Company‑paid PPO health insurance + dental & vision options Generous paid time off + floating holiday and mental health day 401(k) retirement with employer match Diverse, equal & inclusive work environment Ongoing support & professional career development All inquiries will be kept confidential.
