Hours/Week: 40 hours
Employment Type: Contract
Licenses/Certifications: Current RN License in Louisiana, BLS from the American Heart Association
Experience: Minimum 2 years in surgical or perioperative nursing, DaVinci XI experience preferred
Pay rate: $61.10/hour

Provide high-quality perioperative care to surgical patients in the OR setting
Assist with patient assessments, prepare surgical sites, and ensure safety protocols are followed
Operate and troubleshoot DaVinci XI robotic surgical systems
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other team members to facilitate smooth surgeries
Maintain accurate patient documentation and record-keeping
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols
Support patients and families through pre- and post-operative care
Current RN license in Louisiana
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Minimum 2 years of OR or surgical nursing experience, with DaVinci XI experience preferred
Proficiency with clinical documentation and equipment use
Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
