This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to lead large-scale electrical estimating efforts, ensuring the accuracy and success of project bids while contributing to a dynamic and collaborative work environment.Benefits:Competitive compensation packagePaid time offComprehensive healthcare plan including medical, dental, and vision coverageHealth Savings Account (HSA) with company contribution401(k) retirement plan with company matchProfit-sharing opportunitiesAccident & critical illness insuranceStudent loan payment assistance & 529 college savings programCompany-paid life & AD&D insuranceShort-term & long-term disability insuranceIdentity theft protectionEmployee assistance programResponsibilities:Analyze project requirements, customer proposals, and bid documents to develop accurate labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor cost estimates for large-scale electrical projects.Lead and manage the estimating process, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with customer expectations and business goals.Coordinate with various project management teams to gather input and validate estimates for complex, multi-phase projects.Prepare comprehensive and well-organized estimate proposals, including stipulated price, design-build, and construction/project management approaches.Present project proposals to potential clients, addressing options, costs, and feasibility to align with their expectations.Provide detailed project documentation to project management teams for seamless execution and cost control.Oversee the development of project budgets from conceptual and schematic design through final estimation, ensuring alignment with company objectives.Mentor and guide estimating team members, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring best practices are upheld.Monitor ongoing projects, cost changes, unit pricing, and job tracking to ensure budget adherence and profitability.Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, internal teams, and customers to support current and future projects.Continuously refine and enhance estimating processes and methodologies for improved efficiency and accuracy.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience in electrical construction).10+ years of experience in electrical estimating and project management within an industrial electrical contracting environment.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and develop detailed project cost estimates.Proficiency in technical documentation, contract review, and proposal development.Solid understanding of construction methodologies, industry regulations, and union agreements.Expertise in estimating and project management software; experience with Bluebeam, HCSS Heavy Job, Primavera, and MS Project is preferred.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.Strong leadership, mentorship, and problem-solving capabilities with a detail-oriented and results-driven mindset.Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of accuracy.This is an outstanding opportunity for a driven Senior Electrical Estimator looking to contribute to impactful projects and work within a supportive and growth-oriented team.
