Respiratory Care Practitioner

Job Description Provide therapeutic/diagnostic modalities, under physician's direction, and in accordance with hospital policies and practice standards. Plays a key role in the educational process for the quality of respiratory care and cardiology services provided. Qualifications Graduate of a Respiratory Care Program. California Respiratory Care Practitioner License. National Provider BLS – American Heart Association. Within 90 days of hire National Provider ACLS – American Heart Association. Within 90 days of hire National Provider PALS – American Heart Association. Practical clinical experience in an acute and/or skilled hospital setting. New graduates may be accepted with appropriate preceptor and in accordance with hospital business decisions. Preferred: 1 year practical experience as a RCP in an acute and/or skilled hospital setting.
