Shop ManagerA to Z Quality Fencing is looking for a dependable and experienced Shop Manager to lead daily operations in our fabrication shop. This role is hands on and requires strong leadership, organization, and mechanical ability. You will be responsible for overseeing shop workflow, supporting production, and ensuring materials and equipment are ready for our field crews.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC equipment, saws, and shop machinery for light manufacturing of fence materialsLoad and unload trucks using a forkliftMaintain accurate inventory and track shop materialsPull and stage orders for upcoming jobsPerform light maintenance on shop equipment and company vehiclesLead and manage a shop assistant throughout the dayKeep the shop clean, organized, and running efficientlyQualificationsPrevious experience in a shop, manufacturing, or construction environment preferred. Ability to operate forklifts and shop equipment safely. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Mechanical aptitude with basic maintenance knowledge. Welding experience is a strong plus. Ability to work independently and stay on task.RequirementsMust be able to pass a drug screening. Must be able to pass a background check.
