Key Qualifications:

  • Current Massachusetts teaching license in special education
  • Experience working with elementary aged students in a school setting

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and track individualized education programs for elementary students
  • Partner with classroom teachers and specialists to modify curriculum and ensure accommodations
  • Utilize data-driven methods to assess progress and adjust instruction as needed
  • Engage in regular communication with families regarding student achievements and challenges
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with state and federal requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school initiatives
  • Create a safe, positive, and supportive classroom climate
