Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (36 Hours/Week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions throughout each shift
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by the care team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to ensure safe and timely patient throughput
• Respond to emergent and critical patient situations using established clinical protocols

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of emergency room nursing experience
• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume or Level I/II trauma emergency department
• Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills in a high-acuity environment
