Job Title

Registered Nurse – Pediatric Float Pool (PICU/NICU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (4x12 Hours, 19:00–07:00) | 36 or 48 hours per week | 13-Week Assignment | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Float across various pediatric units including PICU, NICU, Pediatric Med/Surg, Pediatric PACU, Pediatric ED Boarders, and Postpartum/Mother Baby
• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to pediatric and neonatal patient populations within scope of practice
• Adapt clinical practice to meet the needs of diverse pediatric units as assigned per float pool scheduling
• Adhere to facility float pool policies and unit-specific protocols
• Participate in orientation modules including specialty-specific training as required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of PICU experience required
• NICU experience required; must be comfortable with both PICU and NICU patient populations
• Active RN license in Virginia (pending license accepted; must be in hand by the Wednesday prior to start date)
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS
• Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certification required (may be submitted as pending)
• Epic EMR experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous Pediatric PACU experience highly preferred
• Prior NICU/PICU float pool experience preferred
• BSN preferred
