Tax Manager — Lead Audits, Client Advisory & Growth Path

Job Description Job Description Volt is immediately hiring for a Tax Manager in Mount Arlington, NJ. As a Tax Manager, you will: Review, and analyze individual, trust, gift, partnership, and corporate tax returns Communicate directly with clients regarding tax returns and other tax related issues Research and advise on client tax questions Plan for and identify tax saving opportunities for business clients and owners Display skill, judgement, initiative, and attention to detail and independently handle multiple assignments Manage and facilitate IRS and state tax audits Suggest innovating solutions for process improvement using best practices Manage and mentor staff of 5-10 This is a full time, direct hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have: Public accounting firm experience required CPA license preferred Degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum 5 years experience with a public accounting firm Real Estate or Non Profit tax experience preferred, not mandatory Interested in becoming Partner within firm Proficient in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and tax prep software Salary: $110,000 - $170,000 per year. *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Benefits: Since this is a Direct Hire role, benefits will be provided by the employer.
