Job Details Position: Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment Setting: Medical-Surgical unit with adult and occasional pediatric patients Start Date: 10/28/2026 Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Schedule: 3 twelve-hour shifts per week; every other weekend included Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,840 - $1,940 Location: Saint Johnsbury, Vermont Job Requirements Active Vermont RN license or multi-state RN license Minimum of 3 years of acute care nursing experience Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association Current ACLS certification Meditech experience preferred Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills Ability to care for a diverse patient population in a general med-surg environment Flu vaccination required Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care for adult patients and occasional pediatric patients in a medical-surgical setting Coordinate comprehensive inpatient med-surg care in a dynamic healthcare environment Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care Support patients with medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric needs as assigned Collaborate closely with the care team, including nursing leadership and supervisory staff Deliver holistic care that supports patients' physical, emotional, spiritual, and developmental needs Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold safe, efficient nursing practices Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment focused on excellent patient outcomes Apply now to join this rewarding travel nursing job in Vermont and bring your med-surg skills to a community that values compassionate, high-quality care.
