A growing professional team in downtown Shreveport is seeking an experienced Accountant with oil and gas industry knowledge to support daily accounting operations, revenue activity, joint interest billing, reconciliations, and month-end close. This direct hire Accountant opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys accuracy, deadlines, collaboration, and the specialized accounting needs of oil and gas operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily accounting functions related to oil and gas operations.
- Process revenue accounting, joint interest billing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable activity.
- Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end close processes.
- Maintain accurate financial records and support audit-related documentation.
- Use Wolfpack software and QuickBooks to complete accounting functions and reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of accounting tasks.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range of $45,000 to $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
