Job Description:

Minimum Pay: $35 / hour

\n

Work Schedule: 3 x 12 hour shifts, 7a-7pm, some night call, rotating weekends

\n

May include floating to AdventHealth Gordon and AdventHealth Murray

\n

Sign on Bonus: $10,000

\n

  Rinses, primes, and positions equipment, attaches tubing, prepares dialysate, calibrates alarms, sets monitors, and performs system checks.

  Provides critical acute nursing care to ensure patient safety, comfort, and well-being.

\n
• \n

  Performs patient assessments prior to treatment and proceeds based on assessments and physician’s orders.

\n
• \n

  Obtains blood samples and other specimens as indicated or ordered. Administer medications, blood, and blood products as ordered by the physician and according to policies.

\n
• \n

  Assess and provide care for patients related to blood pressure, weight changes, access patency, lab values, dialysate composition, and fluid flows.

\n
• \n

  Complete nursing notes after every dialysis treatment and communicate with the physician and primary nurse as needed.

\n
• \n

  Clean and dress access sites and other wounds using appropriate aseptic techniques.

\n
• \n

  Participate in patient and family teaching regarding dialysis treatment and dietary recommendations.

\n
• \n

  Other duties as assigned.

\n

\n

Work Experience:
\n • 1+ years RN experience [Required]
\n • Dialysis nursing experience [Preferred]
\n • Experience with Acute/Inpatient dialysis [Preferred]
\n • Medical/surgical, ICU, CCU, and ER experience [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:
\n • Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
\n • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
\n • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Preferred]
\n • Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) [Preferred]\n

Pay Range:

\n

$30.40 - $49.93\n
