Certified Forklift License1 year dispatching experienceMust be able to operate personal computer, smartphone, scanner, and any other equipment necessary for the jobMust be able to type 30+ WPMProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookKnowledge of dispatching and fleet management principles, practices, and protocolsKnowledge of dimension lumber and panel products and other building materialsKnowledge of home and commercial construction principles, practices, and protocolsAbility to read and interpret mapsDuties and Responsibilities Efficiently schedule delivery orders and credit returnsComes to work professionally groomed and attiredMaintains yard cleanliness and holds team accountable for such behaviorIntroduces himself/herself to customers and/or vendors when the opportunity arisesEnsures that credit returns are picked up in a timely mannerSchedules backorders to make sure they are handled as a top priorityConducts regular ride-a-longs with drivers and job Requirements Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of timeAbility to work indoors in a normal office environment for an entire dayMust be able to grasp, talk, hear, and operate a computer
