Responsibilities and Duties: Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces by priming, sanding, sealing, and patching, utilizing a variety of painting materials including varnish, lacquer, shellac, enamel, latex, epoxy, waterproofing, and heat-resistant finishes. Color Matching: Cross-check colors and confirm supplied products to match job files. Application Skills: Apply materials to new construction, existing, and remodeled buildings with precision and expertise. Professional Representation: Exhibit a professional demeanor and effectively represent the company while working at client job sites. Blueprint Interpretation: Understand and interpret blueprints and scope specifications to ensure accurate execution of painting tasks. Documentation: Complete required reports accurately and in a timely manner. Change Orders: Understand the importance of and proficiently complete field change orders and submittals. Equipment Proficiency: Trained and capable with multi-level scaffolding, extension ladders, and spray systems. Maintenance: Maintain tools, equipment, and assigned trucks, ensuring they are in optimal condition; always keep a clean and safe work area. Extensive Knowledge: Possess and apply in-depth knowledge of various painting materials and application methods.
