Warehouse SpecialistThe Naval Array Technical Support Center (NATSC) is a U.S. Navy facility operated by Leidos. NATSC provides repair, refurbishment, upgrades, and testing of Navy towed sonar arrays that support submarine and surface ship operations. Leidos delivers production engineering, logistics, and technical services to help keep these critical systems mission-ready for the U.S. Navy and Foreign Military Sales customers.Leidos Defense & Maritime Readiness Division are seeking a Warehouse Specialist. The successful candidate will support logistics operations of the Navy Array Technical Support Center (NATSC), Newport RI, by performing physical tasks related to the handling of incoming and outgoing material.Primary ResponsibilitiesVehicle loading and unloading.Material receipt and issueInventory maintenanceReceipt, issue, and location recordkeeping (hardcopy and electronic)Material movement (using hand and powered lift trucks)Packaging and preparation of materials for shipmentAll pertinent warehouse operationsBasic QualificationsPrevious experience supporting warehousing activities.Previous experience reading/interpreting warehouse storage plans.Experience with the operation of standard office equipment (phones, computer, fax, and copiers).Ability to lift up to 30 lbs unassisted.Valid driver's license, clean driving record.Must be a US Citizen and have Interim Secret clearance to start on program and obtain final Secret to remain on program.Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience supporting NATSC warehousing activities.Previous experience reading/interpreting warehouse storage plans.This position is covered under the Service Contract Act and is subject to minimum wage requirements as well as the minimum Health and Welfare benefit.
