You’ll lead the financial backbone of a growing manufacturing operation—driving accuracy, strengthening compliance, and ensuring milestone‑based payments flow without delay. This is a role for someone who wants to shape financial strategy, elevate processes, and be a key voice at the leadership table.

• You own the financial narrative —your reporting and insights directly guide operational and strategic decisions.

• You’re the internal expert for audits, FAR compliance, and milestone payment accuracy.
  

• You work closely with senior leadership , influencing decisions that impact production, growth, and profitability.
  

• Lead all accounting operations, financial reporting, and month‑end close with full GAAP and regulatory compliance.
  

• Manage government‑related accounting activities, including milestone billing, FAR compliance, and agency coordination.
  

• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support operational and strategic growth.
  

• Oversee cost accounting, analyze cost drivers, and recommend improvements to strengthen margins.
  

• Serve as the primary contact for external audits, regulatory reviews, and financial oversight.
  

• Maintain and improve internal controls across all financial workflows.
  

• Partner with operations, leadership, and project teams to align financial processes with business goals and production timelines.
  

Experience

• 8–10 years of experience as a Controller or senior financial leader.
  

• 5+ years in manufacturing with hands‑on responsibility for governmental accounting and compliance.
  

Technical Expertise

• Strong command of GAAP, cost accounting, and manufacturing financial operations.
  

• Deep understanding of governmental accounting, FAR compliance, and audit requirements.
  

• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
  

Leadership & Skills

• Proven ability to lead and develop high‑performing teams.
  

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex data into clear recommendations.
  

• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and problem‑solving.
  

• Confident communicator across technical and non‑technical teams.
  

Work Requirements

• Full‑time, on‑site role (local candidates required).
