Job Summary:
Vascular Sonographer in Key West, Florida. This position involves performing diagnostic vascular sonography for inpatient and outpatient settings, with responsibilities including abdominal, pelvic, gynecological, obstetric, and transvaginal sonograms. The role requires proficiency in small parts scanning, ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage procedures, and aspirations, under the supervision of a radiologist.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: ARDMS registered in general (RDMS) and vascular (RVT); BLS certification; OB sonography experience; graduate of an accredited AMA school; registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); holds a State License as a general radiographer and/or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).
• Additional Information: The ultrasound technician will provide timely diagnostic services, including abdominal, pelvic, gynecological, obstetrical, transvaginal, and small parts sonography. Responsibilities also include performing ultrasound-guided biopsies, drainage procedures, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and aspirations. The position is based at a facility with prior approval of housing arrangements within 50 miles, which must be secured prior to acceptance with an address provided.
