Internal Consulting Analyst, Officer Job Overview The Internal Consulting Solutions (ICS) organization is a dynamic and expanding team within Citi responsible for leading high value initiatives to meet Citi’s transformation and business priorities. The ICA organization delivers significant programs in close partnership with Citi’s functional and business unit senior leadership. The team is the go-to for consulting expertise within the firm, covering a diverse set of critical initiatives that vary in size, duration, and complexity and are sponsored by senior leadership with significant and measurable business value outcomes. The ICA team is an interdisciplinary group comprised of colleagues with deep management consulting and financial services expertise, positioning ICA to develop Citi’s transformational change approaches and methods and build change capabilities engaging Citi employees at all stakeholder levels. Responsibilities Support all phases of projects and drive execution and delivery, including: Preparation of communications for project sponsors and senior stakeholders regarding hypotheses, analyses, and project outcomes Drive analysis of complex data sets and business processes with limited guidance Analyze solutions to problems and develop initial hypotheses using frameworks and methodologies Facilitate continued communications to engage key stakeholders and drive adoption of recommendations and solutions Demonstrate initiative in performing necessary research and obtaining data to support required analysis Work with ICA colleagues to continuously develop reusable intellectual capital and contribute relevant content to the team’s knowledge base Qualifications 1‑3 years of experience in a top‑tier management consulting firm and/or equivalent experience in a large financial services company Familiarity with digitalization concepts and emerging trends related to Process Transformation and AI, and experience integrating technology priorities and requirements into holistic process models and solutions Highly proficient in MS Office, including creating, owning, and developing PowerPoint presentations and advanced Excel skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience analyzing processes to a high level of diligence and detail Must be eligible to work in India; this position does not offer VISA sponsorship Core Competencies Familiarity with core competencies necessary for transformation projects and a willingness to continue developing them: Hypothesis Generation Analytical Framework Development Agile Delivery Data Analysis Root Cause Identification Process Analysis, Mapping and Design Business Case and Financial Model Development Stakeholder Management Communications and Change Planning AI Characteristics Operates at a high level of professionalism and engages stakeholders effectively Executes deliverables to a high-quality standard, with attention to detail and timely delivery Comfortable learning new tools and applications to support communications and analysis Data‑driven mindset capable of collecting, aggregating, and analyzing data Intellectually curious with eagerness to learn and expand knowledge of the financial services industry and transformation methodologies Self‑starter who shows initiative in research, data acquisition, and analysis Works effectively in a team‑based collaborative model Comfortable in an environment of ambiguity and change Education Bachelor/University Degree with preference toward business or quantitative focus Equal Opportunity Employment Statement Citi is an equal opportunity employer, and qualified candidates will receive consideration without regard to their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, status as a protected veteran, or any other characteristic protected by law.
