About The Role, Your Impact Baxter & Woodman has a fulfilling opportunity for a Graduate Engineer I in our Houston or Katy, TX office. We are looking to qualified applicants to start in 2025 or 2026. What your day-to-day will look like, what you will learn on the job Responsible for assisting Project Manager(s) by providing engineering design support on various municipal projects. Assist with the preparation of construction plans and specifications, design calculations, various engineering reports and feasibility studies, bond application reports, quantity and cost estimates, and schedules. Periodically conduct on-site observation of construction projects progress, take measurements, and coordinate with field project representatives and/or contractors. Work assignments will include working both independently and as part of a team. Education Requirement B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering Must-haves, What You Will Bring Must have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam in the state of Texas or be capable of passing, or transferring, exam within the first six months of employment. Ability to travel throughout Baxter & Woodman’s service area (own transportation). Strong verbal, computer, organizational, and writing skills. Ability to start in 2025 or 2026. Compensation The pay range for this role is $74,000 to $77,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, and certifications. You matter!
