Senior Tableau and Data Science

Global Financial Firm located in IRVING, TX has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Sr Tableau Developer Pay Rate: $50- $60 per hour Location: Irving, TX Work Mode: Hybrid This is a contract role. Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards, and other BI solutions. Hands-on with Tableau Desktop for dashboard creation, report authoring and troubleshooting, and data source management. Perform and document data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design. Optimize SQL queries for maximum efficiency and performance. Review and improve existing systems and collaborate with teams to integrate new systems. Conduct unit tests and develop database queries to analyze and troubleshoot issues. Create visualizations for data extracted using Tableau. Manage Tableau Server and Administration on Linux Server, including server upgrades/installation. Identify key areas of automation to streamline business processes. Requirements Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise BI development. Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience with Tableau. Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, Sybase, and MongoDB, and managing unstructured data. Experience managing and implementing successful projects. Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods. Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements. Strong analytical and communication skills. Preferred Skills Experience with analytics using Big Data is a plus. Knowledge and hands-on experience with TabPy and Data Management Addon is a plus.
