Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg-Oncology RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring at least 1 year of relevant experience and a current IN or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a 16-bed Oncology unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes oncology, hematology, end-of-life/hospice, and overflow medical/surgical cases
• 13-week assignment on night shift (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM)
• Responsibilities include patient assessment and intervention, medication administration, and monitoring of care plans
• Documentation completed in EHR

Requirements

• Active RN license (IN or compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS certification through AHA
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience required
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care including ADL assistance and implementation of care plans
• Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate eligibility for candidates living near the facility
• Local candidates are welcome to apply, though rates may vary based on proximity to the facility
• Travelers are encouraged to discuss assignment extensions with management approximately 45 days before the end date
• COVID vaccination is not required for this assignment
