Commercial Lines Production Underwriter

Commercial Lines Production Underwriter – Kansas City, MO area Regional carrier is looking for a Production oriented multi-line Commercial Underwriter to work with agency partners in the Kansas City metro area. This is a client-facing role and looking for someone who enjoys underwriting and sales/marketing with agency partners, working in the field, and building a profitable book of business. Actively manage a book of multi-line commercial accounts, including general liability, commercial auto, property, and workers' compensation in the Kansas City, MO / Overland Park, KS area. In addition to Underwriting, this role has a Marketing component to the role, soliciting agents regularly, discussing new products and offerings while reviewing underwriting guidelines, and supporting the agency for quality submissions. Evaluate new and renewal submissions by analyzing exposures, loss history, financials, and industry risk factors to determine accurate pricing, terms, and conditions. Build and maintain strong relationships, identify new business opportunities, and collaborate with agents to expand written premium. Remote / Field role based in the greater Kansas City, MO area. Degree or insurance designations preferred with 5+ years of multi-line commercial production underwriting experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr Criterion Executive Search, Inc.
