Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite | Every other weekend required; schedule subject to change based on facility need

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
• Accurately document all patient care activities using EPIC EMR
• Administer and manage medications utilizing the Omnicell medication system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess, plan, and deliver emergency care
• Float to other units within the facility as needed based on census and staffing requirements, performing only tasks within demonstrated competencies
• Complete all required pre-assignment modules and annual compliance requirements within designated timelines

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CPI, and PALS certifications

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
• Prior travel nursing experience; first-time travelers will be considered based on demonstrated skill and experience
