Shifts Available Day: 7 am to 3 pm Evening: 3 pm to 11 pm Double Weekend PRN Responsibilities Maintains appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act. Evaluates staffing pattern needed to meet the needs of the residents in conjunction with Director of Nursing. Administers medication/treatments as prescribed. Receives, transcribes, and implements physician’s orders. Implements and evaluates care plans. Identifies and secures equipment supplies. Directs and oversees subordinates. Participates in duty assignments. Organizes and coordinates subordinates, job tasks, and time allotments. Oversees and monitors function and activities of subordinate staff. Evaluates staff performance and institutes appropriate action for discipline and training. Monitors infection control compliance. Investigates and documents accidents/incidents. Qualifications Current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice. Previous skilled nursing experience. Solid understanding of clinical operations and regulatory compliance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
