This government naval facility delivers outpatient and clinic-based primary care services to patients of all ages within a structured military healthcare environment. The facility operates with established clinical protocols consistent with government healthcare delivery standards. Full support staff is available on-site to facilitate daily clinical operations.

The area surrounding this assignment offers a range of cultural, historical, and outdoor attractions suited to varied interests. Notable destinations include the USS Midway Museum, the Maritime Museum, and Balboa Park, which features the San Diego Zoo, multiple museums, and the Spanish Village Art Center. Distinct neighborhoods such as Old Town, La Jolla, Little Italy, and the Gaslamp Quarter provide additional options for dining, shopping, and exploration, complemented by outdoor activities, farmers markets, and seasonal events throughout the region.

Clinicians will provide outpatient primary care services to patients of all ages at an on-site government naval facility, working Monday through Friday on a standard day shift with a 40-hour work week. Clinical responsibilities encompass the evaluation and management of primary care conditions across all age groups, consistent with standard family medicine practice. No call coverage is required for this assignment. Prescriptive authority is required, and board certification is negotiable.
