Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Orthopedic Unit Schedule This is a Night shift position, working 3x12 hours from 18:45 to 07:15. Weekend coverage is required every other weekend, subject to change based on need. Job Description We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Orthopedic unit. The ideal candidate will have experience floating to various units based on skill set and will provide exceptional care to patients within the orthopedic specialty. Responsibilities Administer medications and manage patient care as per the established protocols. Provide care for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries such as total joint replacements and trauma cases. Monitor patient status and document changes in the electronic medical record (Epic). Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy and orthopedic specialists. Assist with various procedures and manage critical patient needs effectively. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Active Registered Nurse license in Tennessee or a multistate licensure. At least 1 year of experience in the orthopedic specialty. 1 year of experience with EPIC electronic medical record system. Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
