Licensed Veterinary Technician Pets R Family Veterinary Hospital Full-Time | $22-$24/hour Pets R Family is looking for a skilled, confident Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our team! We are a large, busy veterinary practice with a diverse caseload and plenty of opportunities for an experienced technician to put their skills to work. We want our LVTs involved in medicine, patient care, procedures, client education, and keeping the hospital moving. Put Your Technician Skills to Work Depending on your experience and comfort level, you'll have the opportunity to work with: Venipuncture and IV catheter placement Patient restraint and safe, compassionate handling Laboratory sample collection and in-house diagnostics Digital radiography Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery Surgical preparation and assistance Dentistry and dental radiography Medication administration and patient treatments Hospitalized patient nursing care Pharmacy and prescription support Medical record documentation Client education and communication Preventive care and treatment recommendations Supporting doctors throughout appointments and procedures Maintaining efficient patient flow throughout a busy hospital We're Looking for a Strong Technician Our ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable in a busy veterinary environment and takes pride in their technical abilities. You may be a great fit if you: Hold a current veterinary technician license or are eligible for licensure Have a strong foundation of veterinary technical and nursing skills Are confident working independently within your scope while also collaborating with your team Can prioritize and shift gears when the hospital gets busy Communicate clearly with doctors, teammates, and clients Take initiative and see what needs to be done Want to continue learning and strengthening your technical skills Enjoy being part of a larger team with a lot happening throughout the day We aren't looking for someone who knows everything on day one. Compensation & Benefits $22-$24 per hour, based on experience and skill set.
