Specialty Food Manager

Job Description

The Specialty Food Manager oversees a small team responsible for curating and managing a diverse assortment of imported international and local/regional specialty food products. This role focuses on maintaining strong relationships with suppliers including local producers, regional distributors, and international importers to ensure product quality and variety meet customer preferences without requiring travel.

Responsibilities

Manage inventory to maintain optimal stock levels of specialty food products
Select and source unique imported and local specialty food items
Provide excellent customer service focusing on specialty food knowledge
Analyze sales trends to optimize product assortment and pricing
Develop and execute effective merchandising strategies for specialty foods

Ketchum Kitchens is a successful single store business that offers a wide selection of premium kitchenware products along with a small, highly successful, specialty food and wine area. We are a high energy store in the high energy mountain resort community of Sun Valley, Idaho. The store is well known and has the most fun customers in the area.
