Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Shift: Days | Monday–Friday | 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM Job Summary Seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures, prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, and produce high-quality diagnostic images in a busy hospital environment. The technologist will also assist with Nuclear Cardiology and PET/CT procedures while maintaining compliance with all radiation safety regulations. Schedule Monday–Friday 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM 5 x 8-hour shifts No holidays No on-call Responsibilities Perform general Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures. Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals. Perform radionuclide imaging and functional studies. Assist physicians with therapeutic radioisotope procedures. Evaluate image quality using PACS. Operate Nuclear Medicine equipment safely and efficiently. Prepare radioactive tracer compounds. Calibrate imaging equipment and assay radionuclides. Receive, inspect, store, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals according to NRC and state regulations. Maintain radiation safety and contamination-free work environments. Rotate through Nuclear Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology, and PET/CT as needed. Utilize Epic, PACS, Teletracking, and Nuclear Medicine Information Systems. Perform patient scheduling and documentation. Provide excellent patient care while following A.I.D.E.T. communication standards. Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience in a busy hospital setting. Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program. High School Diploma or equivalent.
