Accounting Specialist

We are partnering with a growing organization seeking an Accounting Specialist to join their team on a temp-to-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to expand their accounting expertise while gaining exposure to multiple areas of the accounting function in a collaborative and supportive environment.

What You'll Do:

• Apply customer payments and maintain accurate Accounts Receivable records

• Process vendor invoices and support Accounts Payable activities

• Calculate and process contractor payments

• Research and resolve payment discrepancies and accounting issues

• Prepare and post journal entries, including payroll-related entries

• Perform monthly account reconciliations and investigate variances

• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation

• Generate financial and accounting reports as needed

• Collaborate with internal departments, clients, and vendors

• Cross-train within the accounting team and provide backup support when needed

What We're Looking For:

• 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience

• Experience with AP, AR, reconciliations, and general accounting functions

• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities

• Accounting degree preferred

• Experience with ERP systems

Pay Details: $25.00 to $31.00 per hour
