Overview Nippon Sanso MATHESON is a leading supplier of industrial and specialty gases, and gas handling equipment in the United States and we're looking for CDL A Truck Driver in Austin, TX . Our Packaged Gas Drivers haul cylinders of compressed gases such as Oxygen, Nitrogen, Argon, Hydrogen and Carbon Dioxide. We deliver primarily to hospitals, commercial food processors, and various government agencies. This CDL-B Truck Driver position is mainly local home daily. This work is clean, consistent year round work with no down periods. Join a company that is serious about being the best and doing the job right! Starting pay is $29 hourly . Working Monday - Friday from 6am - 4pm (OT available but not guaranteed). Responsibilities Haul cylinders of compressed gases to customers. Deliver to hospitals, commercial food processors, and various government agencies. Operate on a local, home-daily schedule. Maintain safe handling and transport of gas cylinders and equipment. Qualifications CDL Class B license and current DOT medical card. Minimum 1 year of experience with CDL Class B or 6 months of experience with certification from an accredited driving school. Must be able to pass the road test. Current Hazmat Endorsement (will consider candidates without Hazmat if obtained within 60 days of hire). No more than 1 traffic violation in the last 2 years, no at-fault accidents in the last 2 years, and no DUI/DWI in the last 5 years (1 per lifetime). Ability to pass DOT physical, DOT drug test and criminal background check.
