Join our team as a Certified Medical Assistant and play a vital role in supporting telehealth providers and managing scanning backlogs in a dynamic healthcare environment. This 12-week initial assignment offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to patient care while gaining valuable experience. The position requires local candidates who are available to go on-site for clearance tasks prior to start. The role involves performing a variety of basic patient care activities under the supervision of a licensed nurse and physician, including specimen collection, medication administration, diagnostic assistance, and emergency procedures.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
• State certification as a Medical Assistant or meeting state guidelines for exceptions
• High school diploma, GED, or higher
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to perform venipuncture, assist with medications, EKGs, and other diagnostic tests
• Knowledge of infection control, patient safety, and clinical procedures
• Strong communication and documentation skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working in correctional or inpatient settings
• Bilingual abilities
• Additional certifications in CPR or emergency response

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Certified Medical Assistant with at least 1 year of relevant experience
• Prior experience supporting telehealth or inpatient care is advantageous

Other Requirements:

• Must be available to start within 3 weeks with no time-off requests
• Ability to perform on-site clearance tasks prior to start date
• Willingness to work days, Monday through Friday, with 5 shifts per week

Hourly Pay Rate: $30.00
