Caregiver Position Available

As a Caregiver at Executive Home Care of Diablo Valley, you will play a pivotal role in providing essential personal care and assistance to our clients in the comfort of their homes. Immediate need for experienced, licensed applicants for 2 4 hour shifts per week in Pleasanton Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 9am-1pm. Must have reliable transportation to drive the client. The right candidate will have need to be able to Gait Belt transfer clients up to 220lbs, and have a passion for engaging with seniors and improving their day to day living experience. Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Provide support with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene. Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
• Medication Reminders: Provide reminders for medication according to prescribed schedules. Support clients in managing their medication routines.
• Meal Preparation and Nutrition: Assist with meal planning and preparation, adhering to dietary requirements. Monitor and encourage proper nutrition and hydration.
• Companionship and Social Interaction: Engage clients in meaningful conversations and companionship. Accompany clients to appointments and social activities.
• Health Monitoring: Observe and report changes in clients' health status to the care team. Document care provided and any notable observations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience as a caregiver.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid.
• Active California Home Health Aid license.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively within a team.

Compensation: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
