Job Title

Responsibilities

Your role will include:

• Displaying and maintaining a cheerful and courteous temperament, as well as a neat and clean professional image
• Greeting guests
• Engaging guests while escorting them to their table in a timely manner
• Efficiently managing the wait list for seating
• Communicating guests' questions or concerns to the manager on duty
• Keeping the foyer, host/hostess station, wait area clean and free of debris, restocking and cleaning menus
• Restocking and maintaining restroom cleanliness for guests
• Answering the telephone within four rings, and answering guests' questions, and/or directing guests to the proper staff member
• Concluding guests' visits
• Performing shift changes, opening/closing duties, and assigned sidework

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• The ability to reach, bend, and stoop frequently
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English
• Completion and passing of the Florida Responsible Vendor program, in compliance with Flanigan's and Florida statutes
• Completion and passing of the food safety certification program, in compliance with Flanigan's and Florida statutes
