Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills directly impact patient outcomes and overall well-being. *Responsibilities* * Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status and develop appropriate treatment plans. * Manage acute and chronic conditions across multiple specialties such as emergency medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, and internal medicine. * Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently. * Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams * Support clinical research initiatives and participate in quality improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes. * Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control standards while maintaining meticulous medical documentation. *Skills* * Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Athenahealth for efficient documentation. * Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. * Experience with diverse clinical procedures including phlebotomy, venipuncture, sterile technique, tube feeding management, and airway management. * Familiarity with CPT coding and ICD coding (ICD-9/10) for accurate billing and documentation purposes. * Ability to perform advanced assessments in critical care environments such as ICU or Level I Trauma Centers. * Skilled in managing acute pain with appropriate interventions including botulinum toxin treatment when applicable. * Experience working in various healthcare settings such as hospital medicine, outpatient clinics, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care environments. * Knowledge of occupational health protocols including workers' compensation law and telehealth practices. * Capable of performing specialized procedures like dermal fillers or esthetic laser treatments when required. * Strong interpersonal skills for working with diverse populations including children, seniors in memory or dementia care settings, individuals with disabilities or developmental disabilities.
