Data Entry Clerk IV/Grand Jury #469 Reports to: Administrative Supervisor Grade: 14 Level: Entry (This may vary for internal candidates only) Salary: $60,147 Location: 2650 S California Bureau: Administrative Services Division/Unit: Grand Jury Application deadline: August 6, 2026 Working Environment: Hours: Monday Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Physical Requirements: Light Work: The position requires the ability to stand or walk frequently, often for extended periods. You may need to lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 20 pounds regularly, and occasionally heavier items. The job may also involve a significant amount of walking or standing relative to sedentary roles. Duties and Responsibilities: Type and generate information and indictment documents. Enter and update case information in CRIMES Management System. Utilize Law Enforcement Agency Databases. Proofread and sort documents. Date stamp documents. File all necessary paperwork. Facilitate telephone calls, transfer to appropriate individual, and take messages. Copy, fax, and email documents. Maintain confidentiality of information and systems. Interact with State's Attorney's Office employees and personnel of outside agencies. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications: Required: The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task. The candidate must be able to manage a high-volume caseload daily. The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of Microsoft Word applications. Preferred: Clerks and CRIMES computer experience. Knowledge of AOIC criminal codes. Typing speed of 50+wpm.
