Job Title: Clinical Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Acute Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in an acute or sub-acute facility License: Valid, current, full, and unrestricted Nursing License to practice in any state of the United States or its territories Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association Complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) within six months of hire National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) completion within six months of hire Must-Have: Ability to perform nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration of specific patient conditions and treatments Description: The Clinical Nurse performs a variety of nursing care procedures. The role requires professional knowledge and the ability to work independently. Guidelines include physician orders and standards of care. Nursing duties provide support to individuals of all ages and their families. The hospital serves as a referral center for a large area and provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services.
