Lube Technician

Responsibilities Perform maintenance tasks such as oil and filter changes, tire balancing and rotation, and cooling system flushes as outlined on repair orders. Check and adjust tire pressure. Communicate with the parts department to obtain necessary parts. Save and tag parts for warranty or customer requests. Document all work performed and recommended on repair orders. Conduct road tests to ensure vehicle functionality. Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs and stay updated on technical bulletins. Report machinery defects or malfunctions to the supervisor. Maintain a clean and organized shop area. Account for and return dealership-owned tools and manuals in good condition. Operate tools and equipment safely and report any safety issues to management. Qualifications Ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members. Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, commissions, and percentages, and apply basic algebra and geometry concepts. Valid Driver’s License.
