divh2Principle Consultant Analyst/h2pOur client, a Utilities company, is looking for a Principle Consultant Analyst for their Oakland, CA/Hybrid location./ph3Responsibilities:/h3ulliEvaluate enterprise performance and provide data-driven insights that lead to actionable recommendations./liliFrame analytic approaches and lead quantitative analyses that will yield critical answers to key questions./liliUses existing financial models and/or develops new models for analysis and reporting./liliContributes to establishing standards and drives improvement within existing processes and develops new processes as needed./liliProvides recommendations to senior management (up to and including SVP/EVP) across functions to drive and influence planning, operations efficiency and decision making./liliMay manage cross-functional projects or initiatives./liliMay act as a team lead and provide direction to less experienced employees./liliLeads special projects and initiatives as assigned./liliInteracts and consults with multiple departments and business partners./liliDrives change in the organization and be a champion of company initiatives as appropriate./liliEnrich company data through external and public sources./liliIdentify opportunities for targeted, cost-effective resource (savings) acquisition./liliConduct trend and sensitivity analyses./li/ulh3Requirements:/h3ulliBachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or job-related discipline or equivalent experience Requires a minimum of six years total of accounting, financial, or business-related experience, including advanced analytical experience; preference for experience in management consulting or investment banking/liliMinimum 4 years previous experience at Client, preferably in Finance department or Business Finance working on financial forecasting, statistical modeling, and/or advanced data analytics/liliMasters Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience/liliJob-related experience, 8 years/liliUtility industry experience/liliExperience in management consulting or investment banking/liliCPA-Certified Public Accountant certification/liliWell-versed with Python/SAS to build descriptive predictive models that enrich, expand, and allow a deeper understanding of data analyses and solutions/liliUse of interactive data visualization tools, such as Tableau and Power BI, to present results in a compelling manner/liliData-oriented personality/liliAbility to synthesize the requests from management at all levels/liliCapability to be a creative, innovative problem solver - but using simple ideas/liliAbility to work full-time in an office and remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer and work in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday Develop KPls/KRls wherever needed to provide an initial view of performance/risks.
